SHOCKING! Lisa Ray Has Another Health Scare After Surviving Cancer

Lisa Ray beat cancer but she has now had another health scare. A few days ago, the Canadian-born beauty was admitted to the Breach Candy hospital and her husband, Jason Dehni, rushed to be by her side.

The actress who has worked in both Indian and international projects, was shooting in Mumbai when she complained of acute stomach pain.

The ache soon became unbearable and the actress was rushed to the hospital. Turns out, she reached the hospital just in the nick of time because she was diagnosed with appendicitis.

And Lisa Ray was then wheeled in for an emergency surgery.

Lisa underwent surgery some two weeks ago and is now recuperating.

The green-eyed beauty, born to a Bengali father and Polish mother, was diagnosed with cancer in 2009.  

Multiple myeloma, a cancer of the white blood cells is a disease which is difficult to beat but Lisa survived it.

The 45-year-old, splits her time between Bangkok, where her husband is based, and Mumbai.

Lisa was spotted at the age of 16 by a talent scout while on a vacation in India, her father’s native country and created a stir with her advertisement for Bombay Dyeing which saw her in a racy swimsuit.

The light-eyed beauty was then seen in films like Kasoor and Deepa Mehta’s Water. Lisa will next be seen in the Huma Qureshi-Saqib Saleem starrer horror film Dobaara.
